Miami has been electric in the past months with new businesses and opportunities emerging through the abyss with insane events. The owners of the new Le Rouge nightclub and show venue saw this opportunity and came out with a bang.
On June 10th, they launched the venue to friends, family, and the media to give tastemakers a glimpse of what was ahead.
On June 12th, I was invited to capture and enjoy something I’ve yet to experience in Miami. The night opened up and was anchored by rising Miami DJ Dex Hobbes with a nostalgic mix of NuDisco and the favored house tracks.
As Hobbes got the crowd out of their seats and dancing, they threw on the show lights and recording artist Chris Cab and his crew lit up the stage with a performance I will never forget.
His crew is not like any ordinary band. They were just as entertaining as he was. They were some of the best musicians I’ve heard live in some time. They had insane solos which included jumping off the stage and performing in the crowd.
He was also accompanied by recording artist Kiddo Bill who also had an astonishing solo performance as she did a duet with Cab throughout the night.
Le Rouge then followed up their performance with legendary DJ Oscar G who rock the house like he always does.
I felt like I was in Vegas but I was actually right here in Wynwood, Miami. Miami is back with a new look and sound. It’s been a crazy start to 2021. We await to see how the rest of the year unfolds. It’s looking REAL good.
Here are some shots from the night shot by me and edited by Dex Hobbes.
